BRFCxGPP

Attention GPP fans! This year, for our fifth birthday, we’ve teamed up with graphic designer and screen printer extraordinaire Jon Johnson to bring you a super limited and fantastic BRFCxGPP t-shirt.

The t-shirts, which will be sold at the GPP tent are in limited supply so get there early! You don’t want to miss being able to pick up one of these beauties.

We asked Jon to help us out not only because of his amazing design and screen printing abilities but, also because of his mindfulness and appreciation of community. Here’s what he said about the t-shirt design, which uses actual porch party houses from the Uptown West neighbourhood:

“When I think of the GPP, as much as I think of the music, I think of the people; from the musicians, to the organizers, to the host homeowners. So I really wanted to try to feature the people, and the neighbourhood itself in the design. The easiest way to represent that, for me, was by illustrating actual host houses, and using them to create a little neighbourhood on the shirt. The houses surround the guitar, like the people surround the music and musicians, and like the neighbourhood supports the event.”

So get excited GPPers. Bring some cash money with you, bring your listening ears, cross your fingers it’s sunny and keep the countdown rolling; only 11 days to go!

Hello! Any t shirts left? I was so busy hosting that I missed out. Any chance I can still grab one?
